Dissident Island Radio – Financial Meltdown Special: Crisis and Opportunity
Dissident Island and the London Freeschool have teamed up to bring you an hour long panel discussion exploring the causes and potential outcomes of the current economic crisis.
Joining us on the panel will be David Graeber from Goldsmiths University, Jody Boehnert from Brixton Transition Towns, Robin Sivapalan of the Alliance for Workers’ Liberty, and Caroline Sinclair from the SouthBank Coop. The show will also feature audience particiation, so a lively discussion of a wide range of topics is likely!
In the show we aim to explore the causes of the meltdown, it’s social and economic impacts and spaces opened up for alternatives, if any, in the current climate.
The show starts from 9 and will be followed by a credit crunching drum ‘n’ bass set from Dj Dirt til 11 – in the studio the party will continue well into the night with sets from our very own Dj Lung Collapser and many more
